I just finished reviewing the week of Paypal payments and discovered that Paypal never sent 4 of 10 payment notifications via email to me. I also noticed that my vendio account doesn't show them as paid, though my Paypal and Ebay accounts do show payment received.
Anyone else having problems with this? Any solutions?

Problems yes, solutions no. I check PayPal every day before I go to the Post Office. Just when you think you are getting all of them, then it changes.

As much as I would like to put the blame on Pay-pal I think the problems have been with Vendio.
They never(almost never) admit to issues with their system and it has been of late on again and off again.
I trace it back to the e-bay special with stores where they had to change setting because of the goofy special that e-bay ran. (move items from stores to listings for a reduced fee)
I have had problems with checkout since then. Either it is missed items or slow reporting of paid items.
As it was mentioned above you always need to cross reference with pay-pal and vendio as you will miss things otherwise.

Why do you even rely on PayPal Notifications at all? You can download your payments received whenever you want and even choose to download from the last download so there is no overlapping..you get all the information you need in excel format. I never used the PPN's because they just clogged my mailbox. I used to take the information from PayPal item by item manually until they came up with the downloads. It's a huge timesaver!

Forgot to add that Vendio will not show payments received on multiple purchase items unless the buyers are invoiced through Vendio and go through Vendio checkout.

This is nothing new. PayPal has had problems for years on this and they keep blaming it on every one else. Doesn't matter which e-mail program you use, you simply cannot depend upon PayPal to send you a notice.
