Heading for Orlando the third week in November -- got a deal on a condo so a few of us transplanted northern now southern dealers will be shopping Mt. Dora Friday and Saturday. Seems none of us have done anything except set up at Renninger's in the past (which I don't think anyone is interested in doing again this time) but we have five other days to junk around. The companions are relentless and act like crazed ferrets, and it's going to be tense if they don't get a fix (we will all have come off two pretty solid weeks of shows and need a break).
I know about Webster on Mondays, but what else is good pickings? Any favorite malls, etc. within a reasonable distance of Kissimmee? I've heard of Deland Flea Market but is it the same as Volusia County Fairgrounds? I can't tell from a search. That seems to leave Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday open for other areas.
Any suggestions? I printed out a flea market list from collectors.org but it's always useful to have personal input. Thanks!

I have a friend that heads south from here (Jacksonville) who may know of something that way. I'll check with her. I know they go to the Flea Market in St. Augustine and seem to like it. I don't know how it would be on Sunday. St Augustine is a lovely place and full of good restaurants.

If you go to Webster on Monday try going about 2 miles north to Bevilles Corner. It is a growing market of mostly old stuff.
On Tuesday Cowboy Junction flea market is on Hwy 44 just West of Lecanto. This is also mostly old stuff.
On Wednesday Deland is probably best but I go to Plant City because it is closer for me and is also a mostly old stuff market. Another Wednesday market is just down the road in Crystal River from Cowboy Junction called Stokes
Hope this helps I am on my way to Webster and Bevilles corner right now. The earlybird gets the worm. LOL.

I live in St. A. Haven't been to the flea market here yet but when we drive by I see a huge crowd. Lady is right, St. A is a beautiful place and the oldest city in the U.S.
Take a carriage ride around and see it all. There are great cafes on St. George St. for breakfast on Sunday morning and lots of B & B's if you decide to spend the night. Have fun!

Great advice so far -- keep 'em coming! Most of the gang will be coming down 75 from GA/NC, so probably won't hit St. Augustine area this time (I'm not that far away actually since I live right on 95 in SC -- it IS a super town, thanks for the reminder!)

Niel - have you been to Cap's on the Inter-coastal Waterway. We delivered a chair to St. Augustine a few weeks ago and had lunch there. It had been years since we were there. It's a really popular place now. 2:30 in the afternoon and not an empty table.

No Lady, haven't been there yet, but have heard lots of good reports on it. Will get there one of these days. We have been here a year next month so there are a lot of places to check out. We are 15 minutes from a gorgeous beach that has white sand for miles. The dogs love to run and chase the mullet.

There is also a fairgrounds on W50. They are open on the weekends. Haven't been there in years. They had a couple others that were burnt down when I was living in Orlando in 1997. I think the one in Sanford is still there. Its on 17-92.
