I have an auction that I listed with a $2 higher BIN. I got 1 bid on it this AM. Now the bidder wonders if it's too late to BIN. Is there a way of cancelling the bid and reinstating the BIN?

maybe you will get more for it with the bid route. You use to be able to go in and add a BIN price but that may have gone to the wayside I don't know for sure. If you find it It will cost you again so maybe your buy now price should be 20cents higher just for them ruining it for themselves and you. LOL

You should be able to just cancel the bid which will bring it back to the original state. One of the "good reasons" listed for BC is "contacted by buyer to cancel bid."
I think that would be easier than ending auction, relisting, and perhaps forget to remove gallery etc. and you will, I think, have to pay for BIN again (not refundable).

Thanks, Brigittaw! Edited to add: Canceling the bid automatically reinstated the BIN - I don't think I was charged again for it.

Unless things have changed, cancelling the bid won't reinstate the BIN. At least it never used to. I have tried. The option will show up, but it won't work.
You could simply close the auction with the agreement with the buyer that they pay the BIN price.
