Google and e-bay got into a fight this week over the Google payment system and the party they were going to throw at e-bay live. I have heard nothing as to weather e-bay went back to advertising. so if anyone has an update or info to add lets hear it.
thanks

Yesterday, as a test, I purchased my first ever adwords at Google. In one category, my ad appears at the top of the page. No eBay! This is really great in that we are not competing with eBay for Google eyes. The adwords direct the viewer to my store at Vendio.

Of course, as expected, this morning I received an email from someone who found me via the ad. They wanted to sell me a cigar box full of stamps.

Neglus, the article states, "Traffic to eBay actually increased slightly during the week it pulled its ads from Google, according to HitWise and Advertising Age. "

Hah! Traffic may have increased but sales sure did not. I had the worst week of the year.

My searches on Google that have eBay hits generally result in ended or non-relevant listings.

Moody over the weekend downgraded 130 bonds backed by 'second lien subprime mortgages',they are reviewing 270 bonds in total.
You know second lien mortgage is worthless if the homeowner is about to default on his first mortgage.

ebay traffic was up a bit, but now is down more than it went up.

Monday evenings used to be a great time for ebay, but not any more.
