I'm interested in buying one and checked out EBay. They have the 350 and the 650 and refurbished and new. Anybody know anything about them and what to look for?? TIA

Last month, Consumer Reports did an article on them. I've been promising myself to read it and buy one for my wife's car.

I went yard saling with some friends this morning and they had one. Used it in my car because I drove. VERY helpful. I just want to know which one to buy. This one seller has nothing but refurbished ones and then there are the new ones. Looks like the 650 is a little bigger screenwise so would be easier to read on the road.

I'm a p-t courier / delivery driver and I'd rather leave the house without my lunch than my Garmin. I often make deliveries to households and Garmin has not failed me yet.
Mines 330 couple years old.

thaks alldings. Am looking at some auctions on EBay - looks like lots of shilling going on to me tho. they start at .99 and newbies keep pushing the price up.

I peeked at the Consumer's Digest while I was at the store (still on stands this issue)

Top rated was Garmin Nuvi 660, next was the Garmin Nuvi 330 or whatever.

Here's Cnet reviews....

I have a Tom Tom 1, 3rd edition.
I bought it because it was one of the recommended ones at Consumers Report.

Bought it on line at Staples 148.39 & that includes PA 6% tax.
I did a lot of searching & that was the best price I could find. Original price was 182.79 & they offered a special coupon of 42.80.

I love it.

We have a Mio, it does a lot of things besides GPS and was very reasonably priced.
