You know how annoying and time consuming it is when you have a customer pay separately for multiple items? I could care less about the added .30 per transaction fee. Two minutes of my time is worth that. What was most frustrating for me was the time it took to refund the payments and combine the orders through ebay then send a new invoice and wait for another payment.
Or I could just ship the orders together and manually add the tracking info to the PayPal transaction that did not receive an update from MOS.
I recently found this handy little procedure for combining orders when you use PayPal Multi-order shipping.
If you have items listed separately in your shipping order that will be shipped together, you can combine them so only one label is created for the items.
Here's How:
Log in to your PayPal account.
Click the PayPal MultiOrder Shipping link on the Account Overview page. The MultiOrder Shipping page opens in a new window.
On your Orders to Ship page, hold down the Control key while you select each item (row) you wish to combine.
Once you select all items, click Edit in the top toolbar and a drop-down menu appears.
Select Combine Orders from the drop-down menu.
If differences are detected between combined items, you are prompted to edit them.
An icon is displayed on all combined items.
To undo your combined items:
Select the combined row.
Click Edit.
Click Revert Combined Order.

Good information. Thanks
Can you do this with different buyers as well. I just had 4 sales but the customer used 2 different ID's.
I also had two different boxes in one order and I couldn't do another label. I guess I should have used Multi Order option on that as well.

Sure you can. After you print the first label, go back to the transaction page in PayPal. There will now be a "Ship Another" link in the Shipping section. It generates another label to the same addressee but with a different Delivery Confirmation number.
