Does anyone have an idea what this postcard is about? I can't figure out the significance of the XXI - the guy is Lenin. The back appears to have two year dates (maybe not even year dates but who knows?) in lower right corner: 1958r and 1926. Thanks.

You are probably right about the 21st Century, there are rockets in the upper right corner and maybe a monorail track to the right of Lenin.

Not that smart, I've learned to use the language bar on my computer to switch to the Russian keyset- then it's just a matter of using Google and their Translate This Page service.

On XP: Control Panel>date, time, language and regional options> Regional and language options>Languages>details. There you can select languages for your keyboard to support, I normally have English, United States International, which lets me easily use umlauts, French and Spanish accents. I sometimes switch to Norwegian Bokmal and, very occasionally, Russian.
Edited to add, unlike Google, Ebay's "smart search" is notoriously dumb for not equating words with accented e's with the identical word without the accent, If you want to sell an item to a customer searching in France, I've found it helpful to include both versions in my title.
