ok I've used the ASQ but what do you think? It's a dutch auction and it offers "Promo Shipping".

(note: WAY more information than I want to know - or read!) (and what the heck does "MAY BE" mean?

You either will or you won't.

"Combined Shipping:

Combined Shipping is a option for the seller, Not a requirement! Because so many people have tried to take advantage, twist the shipping rules and otherwise hassle me, I no longer offer combined shipping or discounts other then what is listed below in "Shipping Discounts", "Promo Shipping" and in each auctions "Payment Details". I do however reserve the right to combine items into a single shipment if I so chose.
Shipping Discounts:

Each auctions shipping will be determined by the Shipping Calculator. Each auction may or may not have a "Promo Shipping" Rate. In addition, the following discounts "may be" applied by me at auctions end. I do not refund discounts if auction has been paid for before discount has been applied. Flat rate shipping items are not available for discounts!

1.) Purchase $100.00 - $199.99 and receive a 10% Item discount.

2.) Purchase $200.00 - $399.99 and receive a 20% Item discount.

3.)Purchase $400.00 and up and receive a 25% discount.

All items must be purchased within 78 hours of the first purchase. Discount will be based on Item totals but not on or including shipping totals.

What is Promotional Shipping?

I offer most auctions with a "Promo Shipping" Rate. "Promo Shipping" is a flat rate price offered to USA customers only. "Promo Shipping" will only be applied at the end of the auction and only if the calculated shipping exceeds the "Promo Shipping" Rate. "Promo Shipping" rates can not be combined with or for other items from other auctions unless I approve them first. Promo rates can be found in each auctions "Payment Details" listed under the Payments Options box.

ONLY ONE AND ONLY THE HIGHEST DISCOUNT WILL APPLY

I reserve the right to to apply or remove shipping discounts at any time.

Discounts will be applied at end of auction, Usally within 12 hours. If payment is made before discount is applied, I will not refund discount!

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE ABOVE, THEN PLEASE DO NOT BID"

But PLEASE remember:

"If the Party of the first Part decides to Party Hearty with the Party of the Second Part, Sanctions will be applied for Tearing off the Mattress Tag. Do NOT Fold or Mutilate! Close cover BEFORE striking! Tippicanoe and Tyler TOO! 54-40 OR fight!"

So says Barrister Ralphie

GRAND OPENING of RALPHIE'S EMPORIUM of EARTHLY DELIGHTS~All Vd'ers get 50% DISCOUNT!(except electronics)

I am sure that the Seller knows what she is thinking about and it is probably a wonderful idea?????
She just can't seem to convey it in a simple form so that everyone else sees it as wonderful too!

ooops..spelling!

I like this seller...380031894655

Bought a lamp...shipping AND HANDLING was CALCULATED in the auction for $11.95...go to pay and they are charging me $19.15 for shipping and handling, stating:

"THE ACTUAL SHIPPING AND HANDLING COST WILL BE GIVEN WHEN ITEM IS SOLD. NO HIDDEN COSTS."

Asked eBay and was told I could always file an EXCESSIVE SHIPPING report against them.

So, maybe we could list all auctions with FREE shipping then tell the buyer - "please read the conflicting notes about s&h", because we are going to CHARGE you double for everything.

mcjane...is that directed here?

if it is..this seller uses CALCULATED shipping and handling in EVERY AUCTION...but will send you a REVISED invoice due to the location or weight???...which is BULL$HIT .... need to take the calculator OUT! eBay says nothing and lets them get away with it...because of their statement in the bottom

What sort of feedback does the seller have?

As a buyer, I'd never take the time to read all that stuff.
