I was getting ready to pack some lamps and was trying to decide if I should box together or separate. I got a 15"x15"x30" box and it looked like it would work just fine.
So I use lots of bubble wrap and peanuts - I get it all packed up and then I go to move it. Peanuts everywhere!!! I forgot to seal the bottom of the box. I've been picking up peanuts for an hour now.
At least I wasn't in front of a fan!!
Must learn to proof read title as well!!!
How is your day???

I have a cat that loves to play in the peanuts. I have to stack weight on top of my peanut supply box to keep him out, or sweep my packing area every time he get in them.

I've done it before. What a mess and luckily the item inside did not break. Hopefully that is a good omen when putting it into the hands of the PO.

No, never happened to me but have packed up a whole set of dishes, wrapped and packed only to find one of the cups sitting on the shelf. Had to take it all apart and find room for it.

Once in a windstorm on our high and rocky ridge, I spilled a small box of peanuts. They went everywhere!
Worst, though, was the confetti we all threw at a New Year's Eve party at our house, years ago. We thought we'd gotten it all, and dang if we didn't find more. This went on for about a year. Then when we moved to California, there was confetti under the cushions of two chairs.

I'm sorry for laughing, but I am.
It might make you feel better to know that did the same thing with a box of beach glass and rocks. I had the four flaps folded over and under and forgot to lift from the bottom because they were not properly secured. It was about 25 pounds of glass and rocks. My left foot was black and blue for more than a month.
