I noted that the room was hardly filled. I wonder if the entire event is that way. Further, I also wonder if it's the location, or the bad feelings generated by the changes.

Considering that ebay was still giving discounts on registration right up until the start of ebay live, my guess turn out was poor throughout.

<< my guess turn out was poor throughout>>
I was there and took alittle vacation after. We are home now.
The number we heard repeatedly was 3600 attendees / 1000+ were powersellers. They had stacks of materials and were even giving away alot of this years bag with the logo embroidered on it, at the Gala.
Lots of hostile people and not surprisingly the staff sounded rehearsed, practiced and like robots. There were many empty seats at the gala which was obnoxiously loud that by the time Keith Urban played only 25% of the people were left there.
It was very disheartening to read the boards and find out what was going to be announced a few hours later. We went with a priority pass which was supposed to get better seats at all classes and events. With the reduced numbers, it didn't matter. There was plenty of room at most of the sessions.
The one with the guy that was on You Tube, happened to be a session that a local TV camera was at, so it was shown on the 10:00 news. And they worry about us giving a bad buying experience - B---!!
