Well, just had another bidder email me to back out of their responsibities. Man, this sure gets expensive when it's a $500 item and now a $150.
This time, bidder emails me after telling me he is sending a money order... "does this have a remote?" As if an "after the fact" question doesn't raise eyebrows.
So, I tell him that the auction stated it had no remote...
His response, "since it does not come with a remote i did not look at all the item description i can (sic) continue with the purchase please re list item at will let me know about any questions thank you dan

Here I was thinking I was having a good week, and now I have two bad bidders I am contending with on my two higher ticket auctions... for a total of $650. It's the cheap stuff that draws the occassional maggot.
I don't think I've had two like this in a few years, let alone two days.

I think we sellers can expect the same, because we can't leave negative feedbacks, what's to stop buyers backing out etc.

I agree amber, unless Ebay really starts looking at retractions and bidder strikes, what is to stop these PITA non buyers??

Just got a message from the bidder-
"i'm still up for buying this receiver
sorry for the complications about retracting bids
i will pay full price money order as soon as you get back to me about the listing for this item thank you"
hopefully i get an email next saying he sent payment.
i'm the only person selling this particular item right now on ebay, but people are also selling the remote, so he is probably just buying one seperately.
these generally go for $200 with a remote, which is why i priced at at $150.
