Everytime I log in they present me with some items that I have never bought and never will. Today:

Fuel your passion for

LOVES YOUNG DREAM CHILDREN KISS

I do not really have a passion for loves young dream and I have never purchased anything that has children kissing.

Yesterday, it had to do with makeup. I have never purchased makeup off eBay.

I can never get to my eBay page directly anymore. I'm always redirected to things that eBay just knows THAT I WILL LOVE!

Oh yeah, I hate that I can't change PERMANENTLY best match to ending soonest.

Thank you and carry on.
Beth

Bugs the cr*p out of me, too! Always a bunch a stuff I have absolutely no interest in. Their intuitive engine has gone awry.

It's just one more totally DISRUPTIVE Innovation!!

When will they get that we don't want to be disrupted anymore!

I feel your pain. I once was looking for a bracelet that matches my Coro confetti Lucite necklace. Now every time I log in I get the Fuel your passion for carp. I found the bracelet and now LEAVE ME ALONE! LOL! The best match search has caused me to miss out on a couple of items I would have liked to bid on. I don't know what eBay was thinking with that one.

For most of the summer, my sales have been fantastic. Suddenly, this last week they have almost ground to a halt. I know they are messing around with something else. That's the only time this happens. And, when it does happen, I drop down to bronze powerseller because my sales tank and it takes me forever to get back up to silver. It's really becoming far too much work. I worked less when I worked away from home.

Best Match truely sucks! I am missing out on things I would have bought. But the biggest insult is the sales I am losing because I know my buyers are not finding all my listings.

Spoke with a buyer yesterday who had placed a large order last week. In the course of the conversation, she asked me why I did not carry certain items. They are all listed in my eBay store but she did not see them because search is so screwed up.

she also wanted to know why I changed my store. I did not change my store but our buyers now think that we, the sellers, are are the ones making all these screwy changes.

ebay is literally giving me heart burn with all the changes.

I was getting 1/2 or more of my sales from my store before all the changes - now it's about 1/4. I just don't think anyone can find our store items anymore.
I never know if I'm raised - lowered or somewhere in left field these days.

I hate Ebay because:
1. They forget that their sellers are the one paying the fees that gives them their paychecks.
2. Customer service is a joke.
3. Non-paying bidders are no longer subjected to negative feedback - perhaps they should have to pay our listing fees and receive a negative!
4. The fees have go up and up and up and selling prices go down, down, down.
5. They treat their sellers like dog poop.
6. Their best match search is a joke and we can't opt out permanently.
7. They are the most poorly run company I can think of.
8. They want to be another Amazon instead of the auction site that they are.
9. They treat their sellers like dog poop.
10. They treat their sellers like dog poop.

What I hate about ebay is there is so much JAVA script coming through, that it is almost impossible to place a bid on an item. I quit looking to ebay to be my first place to find an item to purchase largely because of this reason.

barparts - Have you noticed that sometimes the page just seems to "hang" for a couple of seconds like a bunch of stuff is still loading? I hate that!!! Just when I think the page is done loading, it's not and it drives me crazy. I'm on DSL and it still hangs. I don't have a problem with any other site. Just eBay.

I usually don't buy on ebay, but I was checking it out with my buyers ID and I couldn't believe how difficult it had become. I knew that listing is nearly impossible, now I know one of the big reasons that bids have dropped like they have.

Ut oh...

"We're changing eBay! See how we're making a change for the better. Switch to the new version of this page"

Appeared at the top of one of my auctions. This can't be good!!

The new versions are awful -- the design is completely brain-dead. I can never find what I need. Revise an auction? Forget it. End it? Ditto. Send it to online auction? Isn't there.

What committee of ex-burger-flippers put this travesty together? It is SO not ready for prime time.

Plus it loads very slowly on some of my computers. Hey, eBay! HELLOOOO!

It looked like she had that dreaded neurological disorder that lets you browse and bid on eBay all day long but won't let you push the "Pay" button.
