Ok I signed up for SKYPE so I could talk to Jessie in Kazakhstan. It seems she probably won't have internet so the free aspect goes away (computer to computer). I then prepaid $10 so I can call computer (mine) to cell phone (hers)at a rate of $.18/min.
Now I have a problem with a subscription I signed up for not working in Kazakhstan. I emailed support (do you believe SKYPE does not have telephone support?) and have yet to hear back.
Does anyone else use SKYPE? Have you had any luck getting Customer Service to answer queries? Is there a phone number?

Yes, I just discovered them. I found my answer - no Skypetogo to Kazakhstan because of fraud (swell). Now I need to cancel my to go account - I already have unlimited domestic long distance on cell and land lines. Wish me luck.

We have used Skype for a couple of years because most of our relatives are in England. Good luck with customer support! We have found it non-existant. My husband accidentally paid a subscription twice, and we never could get it refunded.
