OK here it is. Post if you want to say something about the election - otherwise go to the RT where there are usually lively political discussions.

How about some ground rules? No PERSONAL attacks among posters and no swearing. If you are going to copy paste then provide a link to your source...oh, and once the election is over we all have a group hug

I think this will be one of the most interesting and historic elections in recent history. I'm just sorry Tim Russert isn't around to revel in it all...he'd have absolutely LOVED it! Now, back to eBay-ing!

The Elephants have given us inflation, a huge national debt, a war we can't win, unemployment, plunging stock market, as well as ticking off the Russians and most of the middle east, sucked up to the Chinese, Ahhh the good times! I really like the tax breaks for the rich and higher oil prices, etc. Its time to lock up the Elephants and give the Donkeys a turn.

How long do you think the Republicans can run without letting their new starlet be interviewed by an independent Journalist?

"independent Journalist" = oxymoron

Thanks for doing this Neglus - I have my bullet proof vest on and am ready for anything!

As for the unemployment comment - the rise in unemployment is due to the increase of the minimum wage - brought to you by Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic cohorts. Though it's a nice humanitarian thought - the lower wage earners are finding it much more difficult to find work as small business owners cut their positions due to this increase.

A war we can't win - UM, have you watched the news lately? Even Obama had to admit the surge is working!

Higher oil prices? Perhaps due to the Dems crying about Offshore and Anwr drilling? The presidential statement lifting the ban on offshore drilling dropped oil prices and thus gas prices significantly.

Ticking off the Russians? Perhaps they were a bit upset with Georgia, not the US, and launched an unprecedented attack on them and that was our fault? Not even close....

Oil prices are determined by the world market, they dropped because of lesser demand but they have not dropped 'significantly'.

It would be interesting if these discussions were brought to the RT where it's quite civil these days because the disruptive ones have been gone for quite awhile.

Hello,

Please try to limit the eBay Outlook forum to eBay related issues (especially right now with all of the eBay changes that are happening). I have locked this thread, but you are welcome to continue it on the Round Table.

Regards,
Nathan
