It has really become a no-brainer on which service is best. I received a payment via Google Checkout, and before it could get approved and forwarded to me, it got rejected. Hence saving me not only a lost payment, but I never shipped the item either. With PayPal, I would have shipped the item and then a week or two later find out that the payment was fraudulant.
Great job Google! Your system works the way all payment systems should!
Below is a copy of the transaction.
Aug 30 9:08 AM Order cancelled
Reason: Other (describe below)
Message sent to customer: Fraudulant payment was issued. Likely card was stolen and transaction is now cancelled.
Aug 29 11:22 PM Authorization failed The authorization of the customer's credit card failed. Google has sent an email instructing the customer to update their card. If they fail to provide a valid card within three days, this order will be automatically cancelled by Google.
Aug 29 11:21 PM Order received You received a new order. Google has sent the customer an order confirmation email.

I have been very happy with google checkout. I guess that is why ebay won't allow it. Sure wish google would come up with an auction.
