I wonder why my picture thumbnails are smashed looking when I click the guitar category? When I click on detail they look normal. Is there a fix for the thumbnail it look bad and I may lose buyers that may never click on the details.

My experience is if the display photos are really large then the thumb nails sometimes get crunched into little blobs. Resizing the larger photo might help.
With thumbnails you also want to look at the shape of your originals. The space eBay provides for the images to appear in is exactly square, so if your images are wider than they are tall or taller than they are wide - they are 'squished' down even further than they would have if they were perfectly square.

Ebay is re-sizing my images as well that are linked to Vendio. If i have them at 1200 x 800 or even 1400 x 1000 they are making them somehow 500x400 600x 500. I don't understand how Ebay can re-size them when the link is to Vendio where they are made bigger on purpose? I have been linking to Vendio for a long time on images and all of a sudden there is something wierd either on Ebay's end or an issue with Vendio. Customer support answer would be appreciatted. Thanks

pkgeneralstore - I just replied to your other post on this topic, as I think what your working on is going to be completely different from the thumbnail issue that this user is working on or the eBay gallery picture issue the other thread is working on.
You mention here that your originals should be 1200 x 800 or even 1400 x 1000 - but they are showing up now only as 500x400 or 600x 500.
I checked a few random listings and the originals in your Vendio account were showing the same size as the enlarged versions at eBay.
Chances are something in the resizing or uploading process isn't netting you the same image resolution you had before.
Vendio doesn't resize images from how they were uploaded to us, unless you specifically use the Windows XP version of the XPress publisher and then only if you specifically opt to have the images resized and choose a size from the available options.
Try this first - go to your image hosting page in Vendio and click to view the full sized version of a picture you think is showing up too small on eBay - then compare it's size to the one on eBay. If your working on the regular images (the ones you see in the item description, not the gallery pic t the very top) - they should be exactly the same.
If they are, but you intended to upload one even larger than that - then we need to talk further about how the images are being uploaded and/or resized prior to upload to see if we can get it back to how you remember it working.

pkgneral - are you talking about ebay resizing your gallery image? Instead of linking to Vendio as they have previously they are being uploaded to ebay and resized.

With only one certain type of guitar brand do they looked smashed. my other look good, so I tired resizing all as they good ones that look right and uploaded myself to vendio. They still look smashed even though I scaled them down.

Hello. Sorry i am talking about the gallery image.
The specific size i uploaded it to Vendio last time was 1200 x 600, sometimes i do 1400 just so when that gallery image is clicked on i get a very large image to open up. That gallery image once linked to Ebay and auction goes live, now shows up at 800 x 400.
Ebay is re-sizing the images somehow. I am seeing other links now on message boards with people having same problems. Furthermore i am seeing gallery images all over the place have really small pictures all of a sudden too.
Please let me know what we can do as within the last few weeks it is getting worse.

Just got a response from an Ebayer that the images now are actually linked to an eBay location instead of my vendio hosted location. If you click on your gallery image you will see a different file path to Ebay where as it use to have a Vendio path.
