All of a sudden my auctions won't launch. It wants a credit card before I can list any more. What is that all about?? I have been listing just fine since 1999!! My eBay bill is paid by automatic deduction from my checking account.

Hello,

They may be looking for a 'backup payment method' - we have seen a number of users being prompted for this over the past few days.

Even if you already have one on file, sometimes there is a billing glitch at eBay that forces it to be re-specified.

Thank you Chris, I put a backup credit card in place.
