Hello,

I am getting this message when I try to save my items

<<Your eBay site and eBay Market Profile don't match. Please change one of them.>>

Does anybody know what this means and how do I fix it? Thanks!

Monica

Hello,

At the bottom of the eBay info section click to edit the 'market profile' to see if it's setup to go to 'eBay store' or 'eBay US.'

You may have an item setup to go to auction in one spot and to the store in another, just switch the market profile to match and it should clear the error.

Chris

When my market profiles indicate eBay store I get the error message. I want it set at eBay store because I have an eBay store. When I set the choice to eBay I don't get an error message. I do not want it set at eBay. What else am I doing wrong that it will not accept the eBay store setting?

Hello,

Everything that you list to eBay will show in your eBay storefront, but you do have the option when listing to do so specifically TO the eBay store - or to eBay as a Fixed Price listing - or as an auction item.

The error message seems like it was originally setup to be a Fixed Price item, or was created by copying a Fixed Price item.

At the top of the listing page, if you click to revert back to the old version of the listing form, you can edit the 'eBay site' at the very top of the 'eBay info' section and switch this from 'eBay US' to 'eBay store' instead - if you need to edit these particular items to go TO the eBay storefront specifically (and not list them as fixed price items that also show in the storefront, though im not sure what advantage, if any, there is no picking one method over the other.)

Items you create from scratch won't have this issue, it seems to effect only items that were setup the other way first either by CSV import or copying other listings.

Regards,
Chris
