Just got another email form a buyer that they are having trouble with PayPal (3 in the last 3 days). It seems that PayPal is now requesting Credit Card info. Is this part of the new "shopping cart". Seems eBay/PayPal not happy enough just jerking the sellers around.

eBay thinks they are too big to fail. I need another "venue"

This is the last buyer email I got

I like the item and want to purchase. Unfortunatly, Paypal has a new check-out procedure that requires giving credit card information. I'm not going to do that. They already have my bank information and that is enough. Sorry, perhaps there is another way to get payment to you.

Here is another buyer

For whatever reason I am having a challenge with Pay Pal that I want to follow up to ensure that their request for information is legitimate.

i don't have any problems with my buyers. sometimes they need some hand holding.

i just sent a PP invoice to a buyer for an item outside of eBay. The invoicing is different.

i am not sure why buyers get their panties in a wad over using credit cards through Paypal. I would much rather use a credit card than a bank account any day of the week.

There are far more protections on credit cards than on bank drafts. It is so much easier to reverse charges, file complaints, etc on credit card purchases and it doesn't come out of your personal money.

Paypal may be looking for way to verifying his address, how can Paypal provide seller protection if it cant tell you if you are shipping to a confirmed address or not?

I had a buyer who said she was having paypal problems as well. She wanted to send a money order. 2 1/2 weeks later - no money order.
She was just using paypal problems as an excuse.
