It's a pedestal dish that looks like a cake plate but much smaller. Like the one they feed the cat on in a commercial for Fancy Feast. Does anyone know what it's call or used for.
TIA

I believe the cat is eating from a crystal sorbet/sherbet goblet. It has higher sides than a cake plate would have.

I think I found it - it's call a cheese dish and is part of a set (of which I don't have the rest)

Is there an image? I am missing an image of the dish.

Yes, please post an image. I recently discovered that some small dishes on pedestals are called bride's dishes. I'd like to compare.

No - I'm being lazy tonight.
I may try to post one later but it's not worth that much anyway. It's a Fostoria colony cheese dish. Thought I had a rare piece - but it's not!
