I just got a beautiful rosewood dining room table and chairs.
The chairs are marked Fritzsons Stolar AB
Made in Sweden. I can't find out anything about the company.
Has anyone ever heard of them?

The Scandinavians also import teak and rosewood furniture from other countries like Thailand, and later China.

Nice, something I can answer. I believe AB is an abbreviation for the word english "corporation". In Swedish, corporation is "aktiebolag".

Sometimes you will find the word, "mobelfabrik" stamped on Scandinavian furniture. This just means, "manufactured"... in case anyone wanted to know.

Thanks I've seen mobelfabrik before but never knew what that meant either. Good to know.
