Our builder built houses with water heater and furnace in the attic,my neighbor kept 2 squirrels there and feed them too.
what will happen comes summer and is it a good place to keep squirrels?
we dont have old trees around us,a new subdivision,or rather 9 years old

Why are you concerned with what your neighbor keeps in his attic?
Also, how does this thread relate to eBay?

Thread is not related to Ebay, unless he tries to sell squirrel meat on Ebay.
Or buy squirrel cage on Ebay.
I am concerned because I dont want to be bitten by a squirrel and catch rabies?
And I dont want them to move into my attic, but I understand they are a one man's pet and do not wander!

Send your neighbor a thank you note and some flowers. By feeding the squirrels in his attic, you are less likely to have squirrels trying to bust through your eaves to live in your attic.

On the other hand... your neighbor is seriously deluded if he thinks it is safe to allow squirrels to remain in his attic.

Squirrels and other rodents love to chew on electrical wiring and can create a fire hazard in the home. Also, having any type of wild animal living in your home can create serious health problems.

Rodent droppings and urine in ceilings, walls and crawl spaces create the perfect growth conditions for deadly viruses and fungus that cause serious and even fatal respiratory illness in humans.

Tell your neighbor to look up Legionnaire's disease, hantavirus and black mold on the internet. Maybe that will encourage him to drive the squirrels back out into the trees where they belong.

I think the heat and smog in Houston is getting to you. You just need to move to a different city.

Those aren't squirrels, they're bats.

That's not an attic, it's a belfry.

Squirrels do two things well eat and fornicate. In a few years he could have several squirrel baseball teams. If they are the big fat grey ones they make excellent meat pie.
