I have a small pressed glass plate with these German words: 1st alles gelegen an gottes segen. I translated it on the internet and came up with this, "God Bless All Located on 1st". Huh? I have moved the words around and still can't make sense of it. Can anyone help? Thank you!

You have the first word in the saying as 1st, which would translate "first." actually the word is IST (i.s.t.) which translates to "is."
