Recently started selling after taking several years off. Am wondering if the best size for pics is still 600 pixels or less on the longest size -- or has this changed?
All of my pics are that size, but when I go into my ads on eBay to make changes, I get a prompt that my pics aren't "optimum" size and they recommend at least 1000 pixels.

eBay figures 1000 pixels is the optimum size to show good detail and downloads quickly. I shoot for 3by5 I have no idea how wide long or high a 1000 pixels is!

Just one last question, it sounds like load time isn't as important as it used to be, so would increasing the size on uploading through Vendio a good idea?

Just look at what ever shows the best detail for what you are selling. I try to keep the discription and photo on the 1st page. When I shop on eBay which is rarely I will skip over listings that take more than a page or two and I refuse to scrowl side to side or up and down to see a photo.
