Well, it's 11:30 a.m. in beautiful NW Ohio, and it's already sunny, hazy, hot and HUMID.
What is the weather like in your little corner of the world?

Typical florida weather, it's either raining, or it's hot and humid, 50% of one, 50% of the other.

It was HOT Noth of you Muriel. N. of Detroit.
I went to an auction - stood sweat dripping down my face and gave up. There were 3 small things I was interested in and when I left they were into the 300's on the tags. Too many to compete with. I stopped at yard sales all the way home and let the air run in the car while I looked. 76 outside now but I was out and my shirt was plastered to me from just going to the car. Back from about 90 peak today.

It is currently 7 degs C, which equates to about 42 degs F in your world. Fine with a definite nip in the air, but not cold. It is a fine winters morning, we expect it to get into the low 20's around lunchtime and then drop slowly again after that.
The sun is shining and we could do with some rain, but apart from that it is a very normal winters day for my part of the world.

Frosty in Melbourne, Australia first thing this morning.
It's 1.10 pm now and it's fine, mild and sunny.

We're having our typical summer weather here, cool, foggy, and breezy. I always feel sorry for tourists who come to San Francisco this time of year. They bring all their summer clothes like shorts, but usually don't bring anything warm. I've talked to them in stores where they were buying jackets to wear because they were so cold.
They also think they will be laying on the beach in bathing suits and frolicking in the ocean. They don't know you have to wear a wetsuit in the water, and sweats on the beach. A nice bonfire helps.
Come in Sept if you want nice weather.

76 overnight, 80's during the day, may hit 90. Humidity is 70-80%- it is like walking into a suana when you leave the AC.

The thermometer on our deck, which is in the shade, registered 111.2 yesterday afternoon around 4:00 PM. Must be a record for us here in North-central AR. Hot, hot, hot. I think Texas is sending their weather our way.

Came across this quote of Dr. Lindsey's (of the Fed. Res. in PA) and wanted to share it, since it's about the weather. No matter which side of the aisle you're on, you might agree.
quote/"Frankly, it's a pleasure to be anywhere but Washington DC., and it's not just the weather. Let's face it, Philly, in late July is not a noticeable improvement over DC. But, how do I put it nicely? The term "hot air" takes on a whole new meaning in our nation's capitol."/ end quote

Wow, I didn't know our "Aussies" were experiencing winter right now. It was refreshing just to read the posts from Nettak and Bits reporting 40 degrees! Our day is your night, our summer is your winter. How neat that is!

Texas heat in New England, well almost, it has been in the 90's for two going on three days which qualifies as a heat wave. Trust me, this heat and humidity are horrible.
One more day of hunkering down with no work done outdoors...I am too old to take a chance
on heat prostration.

60's and raining here in Anchorage, Alaska.
We have broken the July record for rain this year. Very few sunny days-makes for disappointing garage sale days. We're having late August weather.

Some relatives came from Chicago and and were staying in Walnut Creek (inland where the sun does shine)and the first thing bought when we went over to SF were those tacky fleece "San Francisco" jackets. It was the usual cool foggy day. I Think half of the Warf would fold up and dissapear if the warm clothes vendors had to close up shop.
Come in Sept if you want nice weather.
I love the weather now. I lived out at Ocean Beach by the Cliffhouse for a few years and the foggy, chilly days were heaven.

Arttsupplies - I didn't realize you were a neighbor.
Oh this is my favorite weather too. It's one of the reasons I stay here. Sometimes in Sept it just get's too hot for me, but the tourists like it.
Many years ago I had relatives visit from Chicago. Their first stop was L.A., and the plan was to camp along the coast on the way here. Well, by the time they got here they were half frozen, and wanted me to turn the heat on all the time.

I'm happy to report that it's finally raining here! I love rain. Of course since we only get about 10 days of it a year may have something to do with that...
