Does anyone remember Dumbya's campaign promise to force OPEC to open the oil spigot in order to solve America's fuel problems? No? Well, that's what he said.
But a funny thing happened the other day -- OPEC announced that it (they) would cut production by a million barrels a day, in order, they say, to assure stabilty in the market place for oil. It's good to read 'stability' as high prices. You'd expect that a person who promised his country what
Dumbya promised his would take exception to that OPEC action wouldn't you? I know that I would.
But Dumbya doesn't take exception; he supports the move by OPEC, supposedly because he believes with them that this 'stability' is a good thing. And it IS a good thing for OPEC and for everyone in the U.S oil foodchain. It's good for them because it means that shortages can be created right
here at home that will make higher prices seem necessary, and it lends a perception of necessity to the plan to drill in Alaska for an expected gain of about one day's worth of OPEC cuts, and most importantly it makes the high profits of the US oil companies seem almost to be their patriotic duty. It's
their unpleasant duty to take your money.

Geez, I'm glad to hear that Clinton never told a lie to the American people!! For a while there I thought I saw his big ugly face staring at me from the TV and pointing his finger and saying something like "I was never involved with that woman...etc.etc." Ontime

How strange, just last week I paid $1.07 a gallon for gas for my SUV. Gee, that seemed like a dip in prices to me!!!! Ontime
