Anyone know how to find an old thread? There was a great one called "In the kitchen" that I can't seem to find anymore Thanks!

Go to the bottom of the page and in the green area click on site map. Then type what you are searching for and check the box for search message center. That should bring up the topic you are looking for.

I tried doing that for her, and nothing came up.

Perhaps the thread was in the now defunct Moderator's Corner?

In which case, the title would have been "In the Doghouse."

BTW, bride. When is the wedding?

imabride2b,

Do you remember how old the thread was? Some time ago, older threads were deleted from the system and are not available through a site search.

I know this isn't much help, but at least it might explain why you can't find what you're looking for.

Stockticker: HOW'D YOU DO THAT? When I tried doing a site search that thread did *not* come up!

Edited to say: I just tried again and still couldn't get that thread to come up!

Bunni: I didn't remember the thread because I never read it (I don't like to cook). I just used logic - and found the thread in about 30 seconds.

First, I tried "kitchen" as the keyword. However that particular word has been used frequently so the RT search results only went back to early August.

Then I just asked myself, how could I narrow the search? The subject was "In the Kitchen" and the originator of this thread is a bride, Therefore it seemed logical that the thread she wanted might contain a recipe or two. So I did a site search using the keywords "kitchen recipe".

stockticker,

I'm in awe. I tried "in the kitchen" but stopped there. Did not think to add "recipe."

Hats off to Irene!

Thanks Everyone! The wedding was Aug. 24th. I coined the name as a seller name on ebay before I had even thought about actually BEING a bride2b!
