In another thread, saabsister provided a link to a hilarious site that explains all the various personality types that contribute to message boards such as this one:
Now, it's easy [not to mention fun] to match the various definitions up with people we know here. But it's also interesting to try and figure out which definition [or definitions] suit YOU the best.
For instance, I once tried being the Eagle Scout, but gave up after awhile. I'd like to think of myself as the Philospher, but fear that all to often I come across as merely the Blowhard . I also suspect there's just a touch of Weenie in my on-line personality, as I strive to come across as a caring, sensitive kind of guy.
I can think of at least one instance when I did a complete Jekyll and Hyde, but I've never risen to the level of my idol, Godzilla.
I wouldn't consider myself to me the Evil Clown [although I know who is], but I suspect that there is a Yuk Yuk buried deep inside just waiting to be let out.
Anybody else care to delve into a little self-analysis? Come on, it's fun!
