Ask the Secret Service - I am sure he is on their "find out where he is when the President comes to town" list.

Hope that you have a wonderful time on your vacation.
Insofar as I know krs is doing well and quite happy. Always seems to be involved in a number of interesting projects.
Just dropping by to read up on the latest political discussion based on the Yates' incident. Seems to be the only thing much going on. Jean's recovering nicely, feeling well enough to invent numerous tasks and errands to stave off any threat of idleness on my part. Time to check what she wants for dinner.

Thank you, Antiquary.
So glad your wife is recuperating nicely.
Idle husbands can get into so much trouble, which is why I have a list of things for my vacationing husband this week.
Other than N.C. next weekend, we have nothing special planned. When I asked him what he was going to do this week, his reply, "Sleep late, take a nap in the afternoon, and go to bed early." LOL
We went to an antiques show in No.Va. today. Because I am a good American, I helped the economy by adding a few things to my collections.

Hi Toke,
From Websters Collegiate Dictionary:
po*lit*i*cal (adjective)
First appeared 1551
1a : of or relating to government, a government, or the conduct of government
b: of, relating to, or concerned with the making as distinguished from the administration of governmental policy
2: of, relating to, invovling, or involved in politics and esp. party politics
3: organized in governmental terms
4. involving or charged or concerned with acts against a government or political system
It's the first and perhaps the second definition also that I have in mind in describing the discussion as primarily political in nature. The discussion seems to me to center around the questions of whether or not mental illness should be allowed as a defense in a court of law and also whether or not capital punishment should be imposed in this particular case, as well as other cases. Both of those are hotly debated political questions, and views run the gamut from the radical left to the radical right. Regardless, whatever occurs in any given particular situation will be largely influenced by whatever the governing laws, state and federal, allow. Since these issues involve the conduct of government and the making of government policy, I consider them political, much as questions regarding abortion and other topical social issues.

Hey Dan...
Glancing through it again, I do see your point, even in the first post, for heaven's sake. My only defense is...it's so unlike our typical "political" threads, I didn't even recognize it. Certainly not RT "politics" as usual...
I've primarily focused on Yates' alleged insanity itself, and whether or not she should be held responsible for her actions. So far, a very peaceful debate, I'm pleased to say.

I will not stand by and let you people tarnish my Yates thread by calling it "political." Actually, it seemed to be more about auto manufacturing quality standards at the last read.

Though your suggestion with the bell is touchingly thoughtful, ladies, I think that my wife would probably decline. You see, having supplied me with a post-surgical bell in the past, I'm sure that she's experienced the dangerously strong temptation after a couple of days of bell-ringing to switch its use to non-healing applications.
