Our Rep John Murtha was at the crash a couple of hours ago. He said as he looked down over the hill all he could think about was the families of those that died. He mentioned that the wreckage was in very small pieces, there was clothing in the trees. Also, some experts on scene had told him that they didn't expect to find the black box, that the debris is scattered over a large area and the pieces are so very small.

He also mentioned that he felt there were heroes in several passengers and possibly the pilot. If you see the aerial view of where the plan went down, it was purposely flown to a place where people did not live.

My thoughts and prayers today are with the families of those passengers and the pilot also who, even though they knew they were going to die, fought to save the lives of others on the ground.

Today heaven has a few new very special angels ...

There are so many different stories floating about on the news, that I dont know which is what. However, one of the stories is that the plane that went down in PA was originally destined for the White House. Now, to me, that means the people on that plane fought and fought hard, and that is why it took a nose dive where it did, instead of the White House. Those people are true heroes. The original target was not met, and they gave their lives fighting to stop it, not even knowing where it was supposed to be going. If it did hit the white house, the number of dead would be higher than what is now trying to be counted in NY and the Pentagon. I hope they get the honors they deserve.

The more information that comes in, the more it appears that the passengers DID know that they were headed for destruction. At least two of the male passengers had cell phone contact with family members and they were aware of the WTC crashes. They indicated to family that they were preparing to take action against the highjackers.

What they did is nothing short of astonishing. I'm emotionally distraught over this. Those poor people faced their own deaths and still had concern for others. They helped avert the senseless killing of even more people with such courage and bravery.

All I can do is pray for them and their families.

Eyewitness reports from the ground from two different sources say:
#1--there was a "sonic boom kind of sound before the plane crashed close by."

#2--there was a small jet seen seconds before the plane crashed.

I have heard about the cell phone calls made by passengers before the plane crashed in our rural area. The three passengers were ready to take the terrorists out and lose their lives in a wonderful heroic valiant effort! They did so.

Be it our gov't planes that took this jet down or the heroic self sacrificing effort of the passengers. This fourth plane did not reach its target.

God Bless America and all Americans.

My prayers tonight are with the passenger and crew members this pm.

Im thinking that the highjackers bragged about what they were fixing to do..and once the passengers knew, they also knew they HAD to do soemthing. Not only were they going to die, but those on the ground were going to die too. I have goosebumps thinking about it, and I hope they get the recognition they all deserve for being what a true hero is.

Even if the US fighters shot it out of the sky, they will still say that the passengers of the flight stopped the terrorists from succedding in their mission. Some good has to come out of it, and easing the minds of the familes will go a long way to the healing. I mean no disrespect to anyone, this is tragic, and I pray we get those sob's before long.

WOOF!

Maybe a bomb went off inside the plane?

The families of the passengers of this flight are due in town tonight and tomorrow morning. They will be given any help they need and will be taken to the site.

The PA State Police has said that the largest piece of wreckage he has seen is no larger than a briefcase.

One engine has been recovered quite a way from the site ... it is very damaged.

They still have not found either of the black boxes.

Local people are being very helpful ... things just keep arriving, a tanker full of gas for the vehicles, food from local restaurants, local people have opened their homes ... and gave keys to their houses to the officials. Equipment keeps coming. People are being very helpful.

On the other hand, they arrested two people trying to get closer to the site to get pictures. They found marijuana and so charges have been filed.

The sheer sight of all of the vehicles and people there is amazing! Our community has come together to help, as has the rest of this country.

We will come thru this stronger than ever!

CNN says debris from the plane was found 6 miles from the wreck. That would be consistant with a shoot down as a missle or gun run would knock parts off the big plane.
Sorry to say we will probably never know if it depends on government telling us the truth. Can't blame them if they did.
