My 12-year-old was having a difficult time grasping just exactly what the demolition of those two buildings meant. I told her to imagine someone coming in and bombing the two towns which are about 25 miles away from us, wiping out those two towns completely and it'd be right near the same amount of damage.
I looked at those tenant lists and I do believe there were more businesses in those buildings alone than we have in the entire Treasure Valley. Absolutely mind-boggling.
