Locally a tribute was held for the families of those who perished on Flight 93.
Two quotes from the tribute:
"What appears to be a hole in the ground is truly a monument to heroism."
and
"A star has been named after the heroic victims of Flight 93."
Knowing that someone I love could have been killed if that airplane had veered either way, I will be eternally grateful to the passengers who so bravely fought to save others, even knowing they were facing death.
