As much as I'm worried about Bush being President, especially now, I have to say that so far, I think Bush has done a fantastic job with the way he's handled this. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders and I think he doing the best that can be expected.
Where's Cheney though? Yes he's at Camp David, but is he alive? I haven't seen or heard from him since this happened. Shouldn't he be "out there" assuring everyone or something??

And by the way, I am now officially a "Democrat for Bush". He's doing a fine job.

Thanks for letting me know Muriel & crankyoldhag! I'm not a TV watcher to begin with, and I'm almost catatonic with watching CNN, so I just had to turn it off.
It's nice to see you again Muriel I have to agree with you so far. I'm not a Bush lover, but am starting to reformulate my opinion of him based on what I've seen so far. I wonder if any other of us Bush "Bashers" are feeling this way too?

No my opinion about Bush hasn't changed. In the last day if you didn't see him speaking you would think you were listening to his father. Same words that didn't work the first time.
I confess I'm really scared. Scared because we don't know what we're facing, and because he's the guy taking us there. Just a few short weeks before this happened, he was pulling away from other countries, and more or less telling them we didn't need them or any kind of treaties. Now the tables are turned, and he's just about begging for help from them. I'm just holding my breath.
BTW has President Fox from Mexico had anything to say? I may have missed it, but I can't remember seeing him in the last week. Would someone please let me know what he's said, if you've seen him speak?
