...For a good cause. I mean, you have to eat anyway, don't you?
Think of the points you'll make with your sweetie.
Think of the dessert!!!

For those who don't know, there were a lot of food service employees in the WTC, including about 78 at the famous "Windows on the World", which was at the top of one of the towers.
Anyone who has worked at a restaurant as a waitress, etc., knows that for the most part they are just your average Americans eeking out a living.
Even at "Windows", most likely the only chefs there at that time of the morning were those who do the prepping (sou(?) chefs).
Considering the few participating restaurants when I first heard this, I was amazed when I brought up this website today.
The following link will let you know if their is a participating restaurant in your little part of the world. Just click on the Restaurant Directory.

Thanks for the post "Femme"...many of us (food service folks) are donating at LEAST 10% of the sales/salaries/tips today...I can personally vouch for the folks behind "Windows of Hope"...PLEASE make sure that your anniversary trip patronizes a business that is doing the same!!!!!!!
