The time has come for AuctionWatch and MichelleG to part company. I have submitted my resignation to Diana this morning and she has accepted it. I haven't been fired, I haven't been asked to leave - I just can't work here anymore.
So any tick of the clock this post will turn from Mod blue to the same insignificant grey that everyone else's is.
When I first took this job, I thought I'd be here for maybe 6 months at the most. I stayed a little longer than I anticipated. I have tried to be fair and impartial and, while I haven't always succeeded, I believe for the most part, I've done a good job.
It's been a blast (even when some of you had me bailed up in the Mod's Corner  ) and I will miss all of you.

Michelle you will be missed by more than you realise.
I am proud to call you my sister, and yes for those of you who do not know Michelle is my sister and I guess that means I will not be posting here anymore either.
Sorry to all of my friends that I did not tell you about my relationship with Michelle, but I think you can understand why I have never told you. I don't feel that I have ever been involved in any posts that can be called into question now that you all know.
I will talk to some of you again.

Personally never had any problems with moderation. I'm sorry if it was stressfull for you. It has not been real cheerful around here it is true because a lot of bad stuff has been happening, I hope you find something that works better for you. If it is not too unpleasant to do drop in and tell us how you are doing.
Guess I am missing something unsaid if nettak has to leave also. Hope your problem child heals up 100% nettak.

What??? Michelle and Nettak leaving? I hope it's for the right reasons. You'll both be really missed, you know. What a shame.

Well, heck, I certainly hope it wasn't something I said.
I hope you're leaving in order to spend more time with your family and kids, and not to avoid having to subject yourself to The Romper Room antics here.

I never had any problems here either and I understand why Michelle is leaving with all the AW layoffs, and layoffs in general. I have bid farwell to ebay last week after 4 long years. With the news of half.com being put into the main site, the ever increasing mail rate hikes, and recession I found a job with benifits, and I am guaranteed a paycheck. I do wish everyone much success on eBay!

Take care of that precious baby. They grow up too fast.
My little one turned 9 months old yesterday! (and much to my father's chagrin, I STILL haven't returned to work! Work for the family in RL and just can't bear to be away from him.)
Can we at least get to see a picture of the bundle of joy before you go?

I have to admit that Im feeling blue that we will be losing not just one, but two. Michelle, I have enjoyed your presence and you did a DAMN good job. Nettak, with you leaving, I will feel the loss twofold. Just knowing you were here, happily posting in your WSUL threads was enough for me...the just KNOWING you were nearby.
Corney, I know. But I wanted you to know what your presence made to me, even though I couldnt greet you like I used to under my old name. So I can dig it, what you are saying about being sister to Michelle and not mentioning it.

Actually, I also wonder the why's and wherefore's, but Im trying to not ruin her goodbye with questions and part of me wonders what barry does...was it us the posters, or something else? But I wont ask.

Michelle, ma belle I wish I could remember the rest of the words, but you will be missed. You are funny, fair and alert...a very nice combination...even if you did have to moderate me once I deserved it and understood and I was goooood!!
Hugs to you and Nettak (little rascal) all those months and I never knew you were sisters...was I the only one??
