Has anyone been following the crop duster story in Mississippi? I read two articles about it in the www.drudgereport.com Seems a crop duster flew over some people in boats and sprayed them some kind of liquid. The people are okay and are not infected with anything but the fbi is still testing the substance. Also no one can find the crop dusting plane! I wonder why this has not been mentioned on national news.

It has been mentioned, I've heard it several times. It happened a few days ago.
Not my name on ebay.

Yep ~ I wonder too why it was not on the news... after i heard about this here on AW ... never heard about on TV and just a very small mention in paper... makes ya wonder what is actually going on and what are they hiding ! I mean.... the way the media plays everything up.. you would have thought this would have made it to CNN or something.. maybe it did.. but i didn't see it

I'm surprised that the story did not appear on Fox News...or did it?

There is a NEW one. A white unmarked plane sprayed a National Guard Base and they can't find the plane.

Very odd. We have absolutely nothing of interest or importance here. GO AWAY.

How can they not find a plane? It has to have taken off and landed someplace? An airport perhaps? Maybe they aren't looking there. Someone must have seen it .

I totally agree, how can you not find a plane! If it is a joke somebody is taking a mighty risky chance...getting shot down! I have heard nothing on the news and I keep the news on all day while I work.

When my Mississippi relatives are not wearing sheets and hoods, they spay the land and rivers of Mississippi with...."fertilizer"... just a bunch of good ole boys having fun. When an occasional boat gets in the way, they make the news.

They believe...they REALLY BELIEVE that God approves of their efforts to frighten the sin out of people with a little "fertilizer" and damnation.

The duster will be back in business by tomorrow, I'm sure.

I'm really surprised that the story did not appear on Fox News. Did you happen to see it,
Linda K?

Helen's relatives aren't even REMOTELY what she said.

Small crop dusters often take of from grass airstrips. But, yes, they are checking flight plans everywhere.

I saw spaz's initial post but never heard another thing other than the people were OK. But then again, I haven't had the TV on in a week.

I read in the local paper that the city is stockpiling antibotics (most of us would still die) and saw on the news that the FBI (?) is training police here for urban assault warfare. They are learning the "don't stop technique" where the key is not to wait for the task force in the event of shootings, etc. but advance full ahead rapidly firing at everybody in their path. Sounds good to me. Crime here in the city is out of control.

(That's not very nice of me is it?)

It was the Coast Guard?Unbelievable!
JT, In these times that thinking may not be very nice but it's practical!
Has anyone shown interest in your house? I really can't see how you could stand to move from there. It is lovely.

Looks like the pranksters have a new game to play. Get drunk and scare the hell out of people. It's pretty easy to make the news these days.

No rawbuns, no buyer yet. A couple flew in and took a look around but needed two master beds down which we do not have. An equestrian farm out of state inquired for bed and breakfast material but haven't been here yet. Now that the weather is better...I kind of like it again actually. *rolls eyes* I will certainly miss this house if we go. Hubby is restless...and wants to be debt free...which means that I will never have this much room again. I NEED lots of room!

The BRIGHT side is...if it's a bed and breakfast I can always check in and cry?
