Could someone please send me an email and fill me in on current happenings here? I've not been here much, hubby had some minor surgery last Friday, and I'm working part time now. I don't have the time or the detective skills to read all the threads and piece it together.
I'm sorry to see anyone leave...I've liked reading here for a long time. Even those I disagree with...I hate to see anyone leave. Can someone shed some light for me please?

It's not taunting - might look that way though. Rumor has it that AW is closing their chat forums... I don't know if it's true but I'm getting my goodbyes in just in case.
I'm pretty sure it's true - but I guess we'll know soon enough.

I will miss everyone here. I'm not sure what I'll do as I drink my morning coffee.
This just chomps...royally.
I'll miss the good information, advice, well spoken POV's (yes even those I disagree with), the wicked humor, the way folks would support those who were hurting...

I cannot believe this! Requiring a credit card to post here??? I have never heard of such a thing.
Very unfortunate because, although I am new here, I can see from reading the posts especially in this forum that there are many close friendships that have endured over the span of time. Too bad for you AW!! You fee increase and now this is yet another big steel nail in thy coffin!
I wonder how many months until this place goes the way of so many other dot.coms. I give AW 8 months until the janitors are going to be in sweeping up the rubble that was once Auction Watch.
