The ones that hooked me into delving deeper were the "she who cannot be named" threads. There were many of them and it took alot of reading to understand what went down.

Eleanordew, I came in after the fact of the "she who cant be named". I was lurking at that time, and didnt know what was going on, but I found it interesting that someone with a NAME could be banned or anyone saying that name could be banned also. What got my attention was its just a name. Many have that same name..including me. How can a NAME be banned? I found out, after days of reading and searching.

AW may have thought that when they purged their database that they gotten rid of all record of the "B" threads, but they are no match for Stockticker when it comes to using Site Search.

For me, it was the VanGogh thread. HCQ and Abacaxi and Rosiebud, and some others. That was awesome.
Second was VeryModern's Astrology thread. I enjoy her writing.

I have to vote for the B threads too. I think they were fascinating if you weren't participating in them, and just reading (like me).
What a study in human nature! I always thought, what would an alien think of earth creatures if they were reading.
I couldn't wait everyday to see the next installment
Hope you don't mind Terri, but that night you had a melt down and wanted to get suspended was a little bazaar. If it had been someone else it would have just been another rant.

The "BRENDA" threads were good, I'll give you that, but it was the "Jeff Buckley" saga that will always stand above the rest in my mind...
Ross and Me were quite the tag team back then, and we took it to those a-holes not only here, but to ALL the Buckley boards round the web, and around the world.
Now THAT was great!
They would bann me, and I would do a Brenda, and again, and again, but each time using a new user name with "Pocono" in it.
We drove those people absolutely crazy.
