Mildreds
Hope you will be back!
I'll never forget the question that you asked about transferring Outlook Express folders to a floppy disk because I just happened to be working on the same problem.
Meya gave such good directions and I worked diligently on that operation all day long and guess where it is now?

Hi Helen, I have Bronchitis and Respitory flu at the moment so am kinda wozzy, so you didn't get your files copied?
Meya's link was great, and I followed all the steps, found the files and at the last step they would not copy. The first folder I tried to copy had two emails that were about two sentences long so could be very minimal disk space the and disk I was copying to had 25% space left. I gave up that day not as diligent as you. Some times I am better to get away from the computer rather than throw a brick through the moniter.
So I stopped at a book store. I looked through 6 books before I found anything. And then I could not believe my eyes at the steps. I haven't tried them yet. I am so mad at Microsoft. This is the most basic thing. Why they do not have a button you push and specify what drive or location I will never understand.
The multiple easy help books had pages on how to move a file create a file, etc etc of the simplest things you can figure out by playing or with help, but copy files for backup or history well why bother with that.
Oh, well time to go back to bed. My head already hurt. Take Care.

Femme: Thanks. First time I turned the computer on since my last post. Must be the flu. Never felt like this with a cold. Great thing about this way of talking, at least we can't pass on a physical virus to anyone.
