gravid - I'm for the most part a lurker here. Since we're running out of time, I have got to ask you a question. (If it's been discussed before and I missed it, I apologize, but I've wondered for awhile and want to find out before it's too late)

You make reference in alot of posts to your size, is your username a somewhat warped reference to that??

Rhonda

edited to add - I think your the Poster with the Mostest...I'll really miss reading your stuff!

Yep, I think gravid is pretty dern cool. He's the kinda guy I'd like to have as a next-door neighbor (especially when I need to move the couch) I don't post a whole lot either, but I sure like to read your stuff gravid!

No I am very large and I have gained a lot of weight the last year but I said that at the time because I am writing a book and that is how it feels. (As far as I can ever know.)

It is a pain being big. I don't fit in airplanes or some small cars. I wear a 22/36 shirt or a 6x.

But the gravid was from the exasperation of trying to be an author.

Don't expect to hang around it is true.
I have enjoyed all your company. Thanks.

'scuse me for my ignorance (I'm not in the "in crowd" - would OTWA be Barry's place by any chance? I'm just trying to find a place to hang out but don't know where to go

I registered today for Barry's but have not got a mail from them yet to activate. Will try again if it does not show up soon. Maybe I messed up along the way declining all their offers of "services" = spamorama!

Gravid, I must say that of all the posters here, you stand apart in that I've never read you taking personal digs at anyone. I admire your constant use of fair-play, and your stories are always so fascinating. You sure have lived an eventful and interesting life. I do hope to see you at Barry's.

I've been hoping it would become clear to me and I wouldn't have to ask - but WHAT exactly is OTWA?.. (bobbi, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Information would be appreciated

Rosebids25¢ - Thanks - I sometimes think people are acting jerky but have you ever seen anyone learn from being told that by a stranger? I have been blessed with traveling all over the US and Canada but it amuses me that sometimes people don't believe you when you keep saying "Oh yeah I have been there."

One time I was with invited to go with a group from Ohio to Canada and when we crossed the bridge at Niagra Falls someone said they were getting hungry. I asked would pizza be OK? and that sounded good so I said cut right a couple blocks and then the way you are going and there will be a little place on the left. Really freaked them that I knew a place to eat within a half mile but I had hung out in that neighborhood 4 or 5 years before that.

I am just sorry that from the way my money looks I am not going to be able to go to Europe or Asia when we retire and I have never been over there.
