Of all the posters here in RT or AW, who do you credit the most with learning something from, or appreciating the most, in your own opinion.

Eventer, Linda_K, and Rancher - I admire their eloquence and tact through some very sticky situations.

Rocker - She has an incredible amount of passion in everything she says and does, and an incredibly strong soul.

And Muriel, of course - She has helped bring me out of my shell and lets me play!

Hepburn, I have learned the most from these two posters and I look forward to reading every word that they write.

Number 1 is krs.
Number 2 is Antiquary

Of course there are many others too numerous to mention., but these are tops!

Female posters that I enjoy reading are bunnicula and KatyD and Rawbunzel.

Helen

I can't even begin to name names... it's literally endless. But, I will say that the person who brought me around and caused me to finally have the confidence to take the dive was Maui. Remember her? She was a lot like you Hep. Don't see here around here much anymore though. When I first discovered the RT and started reading the threads I was a little intimidated because everyone seemed like they were such a tight knit group that I wasn't sure an outsider would be welcome. There was something about the friendly way that Maui posted that made me feel it might be safe to jump in... maybe it was all those ponderments.

I'll never forget that first evening. Everyone was merrily posting - just having a great time. I had never once posted to a board before so it was truly a plunge for me. Sure enough. I posted and everyone else immediately stopped posting... in fact, they quit posting for the whole damn night. I have to say I was a little shaken up... But, I reasoned that maybe with a name like mybiddness they were just leary of me.

Long story short (too late) it didn't take long before Maui and K'cat, Lady of Lake and several others made me feel right at home. And, I still remember and appreciate that.

Not paranoid anywhere else but here!

Many posters here have been helpful to me. Some directly and some in a more oblique way. Very Modern, Fashion, and Meya spring immediately to mind.

You in a variety of guises (were you Franny S, too?) along with Muriel, Zilvy, Stockticker, Enchanted, onezippyone, k-cat, snowyegret and Gravid (among others) have been unfailingly friendly to me despite my lack of manners. Pocono's been nice, even while insulting me, and James has always been a gentleman. I liked Dr. Beetle even when he was a troll.

Some posters I truly liked to dislike (and I suspect the feeling was mutual) were Sgt. Mike, HCQ, Marwin, Pareau, and a few others whose names elude me at the moment.

krs, I prefer to think, is not really an a$$hole.

There are some who've seldom deigned to acknowledge my presence but I'm sure I'm guilty of similar behavior towards them.

At the risk of soundin' too sappy, I have found that every poster here brings an interesting perspective to the "table" & that it is the compulation of those many personalities that gives (gave, sniff, sniff) AW it's charm.

I have been helped along the way by so many that to name them would be impossible, but to ALL I say Thanx for the info, the laughs, the support and the wonderful memories.

nanandme....Thank You!...That made my day!

Til our trails meet agin'....Take Good Care, don't be sniffin' any white powder, & ENJOY!
