Demonstrates the need for the CC pretty well; a poster like that may have a card, or two, or ten, but will eventually run out of them.

Yes, I think that the credit card requirement will cut down on a lot of the harassment as well as the trolling. Oh I know that there will likely be some for a little while but I'm betting that it'll work out soon.

I guess it really doesn't matter anymore. Without the mods, why stay here.
I would give my credit card # if that would keep them, but that was not in the plans.

Well, I see it's about that time.
Everyone,
I have enjoyed my association with AuctionWatch, and with all of you. For the most part, at least. 
I can't help feeling a little nostalgic upon leaving. It's been a learning experience, and I've enjoyed getting to know you all.
Thanks to everyone for your kindness, and for your patience when I was learning the ropes. I won't forget what I learned, and I won't forget your kindness.
It has been my pleasure to be part of this organization, and I wish AW and all of you the very best.
