I know the holidays over, but it's so much fun I want to hear all about the best Halloween tricks. What's your best Halloween trick?
My most memorable trick was when some friends and I got caught by the police with green tomatoes on Halloween night. They hauled us down to the local cop shop and put us all in a room. Lo and behold who should be there but half of the kids in town. As the night wore on more friends and acquaintences kept arriving. We had quite the party that night. The boys found the MIP stash of beer in a little room attached to where we all were. I didn't drink any of it but most of the boys did. At 10 we all had to call our parents to come get us. I'd never been in trouble before and my Father found it quite hilarious that I was at the cop shop all night and I even escaped getting in trouble with my parents.

My best Halloween trick is buying WAY too much candy. Problem is, I live in the stix, so I never get trick or treaters.

One of my favorite tricks was at work up in Alaska. I spotted a friends truck outside a building at a remote site and decided to make his trip back to camp interesting. It wasn't the dead of winter but the temperature was sub zero, 20 below I guess. I rolled down his truck windows and then I took the handles off so he couldn't roll them back up. I opened the tool box and took any tools that he could have used to roll the windows back up without the handles, pliers, channel locks, etc. He had a very uncomfortable 12 mile ride back to base camp, and was a bit mad for a few hours.
He got his revenge a few days later. I got ready to take off one morning after breakfast and he had filled my truck with snow up to the windows. We called a truce after that.
