Nah, you guys are cute. I think we'll keep you. (Besides, who would take out the garbage?)

On second thought, the toilet seat would always be down.

On a serious note - the victims of much domestic violence are women. This week the daughter of one of my husband's co-workers was murdered by her husband. One of her young children witnessed the violence and tried to stop it.

So sorry to hear about yet another domestic violence related death and the horror that child witnessed. Unfortunately, these senseless murders are common.

On the issue of extinction of the male, I truly hope that doesn't happen. They make WONDERFUL pets. Of course, firm handling, patient training and appropriate/timely rewards are necessary to mold their character.

Interesting report, but I take issue with the conclusions. If we'd get rid of the women, most of men's health problems (especially stress-related) would just disappear. Then we could get lose the silly dress codes that prohibit men from going to the supermarket in our boxers.

The biggest drawback to men is the housebreaking. Once you teach them not to shred the newspaper, shed on the sofa, and pee on the floor around the toilet, they're ok. But try teaching one of them to heel!!

My wife (Mrs Sinner) puts it back up after she uses it...
She has learned that it is easier than having to clean it off
every time I use it........Lol

I have solved this problem a far better way, I have just removed the dam toilet seat and put it in a higher dry place.

I do have some trouble understanding though the women are still moaning and complain about the toilet I don't understand I have no trouble useing it !!!!

Good work, Hopeless!

After years my wife gave up too. It just takes persistent dedication to a cause.

This is one thread that I won't ask my husband to read. He's been trained to put the seat down.

Randy, yes, it was quite shocking. Her father had just helped my husband replace our well pump. I didn't know them but my husband has known the father for 20 years. I can't imagine anything worse for a parent to go through.

I don't understand why someone doesn't make a toilet seat with a foot pedal on it, like trash cans-press, it goes up, leave, it goes down. Probably because men couldn't hit the foot pedal any better than they can hit the toilet bowl!

Anyone who has ever seen the way women will fight to the death over some jobless, drunken, two-timing loser knows men will never be allowed to become extinct!

In a sitcom a long time ago a woman whose husband was acting real domesticated was asked "Where do you find men like that?" Her reply was "You don't find them like that. It took me 20 years to train him."

On a serious side it would be interesting to decide what mother natures attitude to it all is - after the 2 great wars it's a fact that the male birt hrate shot up and greatl y outweighed the female bithrate; the yare generall ymore or less even but have a habit[as this illustrates] of responding to world events. Maybes she[Mother N] will take it as an opportunity to do awa ywit ha lot of us blokes. on the other hand maybes we'll see sperm donor resistant women!
On a lighter side:
daughter:"mam, why do we have nipples?"
mother:"why darling, it gives the men something to focus on when they're talking to us".
