I thought I would check out AOL to get the free 1000 hours that they are offering. Then I read the fine print.
Your 1000 hours must be used within the first 45 days after signing up. To be able to use 1000 hours in 45 days you would have to be online 22+ hours per day. Some people do have lives out side of the internet.
Since it is not possible for anyone to be online 22 hours a day for 45 days, I would consider it false advertising.

Their 1000 hours offer has been around for awhile. It is similar to a car dealer advertising a car lease on a $20,000 car for $99 per month with the fine print saying that you have to put down $10,000. It just doesn't happen.

Actually The AOL 1000 hours free is not a joke its a great deal true you cant use the 1000 hours in 45 days but when you call to cancel the account they give you 2 more free month of service..

Dang and I've been doing it the hard way for the past 5 years and paying every month for the service.......lol
