For old times sake I thought it might be interesting to have one of us be the Thread Police Person for a day. Would not be required to spend the day...just insert yourself into a thread at least once on your day to police it. This would only be for a week so get your days now! Starting this Saturday.I'll put your name by the day you choose, there can be more than one police person on any given day but not more than three. You cannot make any cruel personal remarks. This is for fun!
Saturday - KRS
Sunday - HJW and Mybiddness
Monday - Antiquary
Tuesday - Enchanted
Wednesday - KatyD
Thursday- Rawbunzel
Friday - Stockticker ****snicker****and Chococake
Have I forgotten anything? 
Julesy will police at her own discretion.

I want a forum to protest the heavy-handed moderation here. It's discriminatory. Other posters get by with stuff all the time. Why are we being singled out?

wouldn't be the same without Spaz.
Most of the other whiners couldn't get their husbands to let them use a CC by themselves, except twinsoft and uaru of course.

Hey Katy,
I've missed seeing you lately. I'm been thinking of using the finger when I moderate, only metaphorically of course. I don't know whether or not Joice's was under copyright. Rawbunzel will know when she returns.
Well, you're right, krs, it wouldn't be the same without ol' Spaz. Miss him and some others a lot. Several of the best threads were in the Moderator's Corner. When I arrived, I would usually check it before the EO and then later the RT.
The credit card issue still baffles me. I used to think that I was a bit old-fashioned. lol

So what are the rules rawbunzel? Can the thread police say lines like "if you can't act like adults, I'll have no choice but to......", or "you're on thin ice", or statements like "Careful!", etc??
I wonder if you all have the guts to be as assertive as the moderators were??

Kraftdinner, the rules are just what you see in my first post. What day do you want? There are still several open...how about Sunday?? We don't have to be forceful, Krafty, sometimes just an "Ahem" does the trick.

Helen, I believe the subtitle of this game would be: Play Moderator For a Day.
We don't have moderators anymore, so we get to play around, like the kids that imitate the teacher when the teacher steps out of the classroom LOL
It's Rawbunzel's day today, so she gets to explain this thread to everybody, LOL.

I'll take Sunday, if I'm still here... and I will do my best to live up to my infamous reputation. We may not have Monday to worry about.
I still don't understand the part that the the whining women have in this game. But if they show up, I'll be sure to remove their posting priviledges or at least offer them some enlightenment on credit card use.

Enchanted, If you were to read my initial post in such a way as to understand it you would see that this is only for one week starting on Saturday [which I really think KRS should take]
Of course if it works out well we could extend it.
[did that sound the least bit moderatorish? I'm practicing and I find I am not much good at this ! LOL ]

I didn't see where you mentioned the pay scale for this job? I do take Paypal - so that should make it easy for you Rawbunzel.

Since I can't commit to a schedule, I won't volunteer to police but I'll be glad to show up and whine despite the fact that I know very well how to use a credit card. So, if you're short of whiners let me know.

In fact, Mybiddness, since you are a member of AuctionWatch with a priviledged status attained by length of continuous service which exceeds mine, I believe that you should have the job of thread police Sunday.

LOL You wish Helen! As you can clearly see by my first post there can be up to three thread police for each day. I believe Mybiddness wishes to moderate your moderatin' . I'll just add Mybiddness to the roster.But you have to stay too!
Mybiddness there is no pay. It is strictly on a volunteer basis.
Saabsister...all whiners will be needed..the more the merrier. Without whiners where would the moderators be?
Whining is good.
