Deviant behavior is sometimes justified by religious beliefs so maybe my question is out of line. Just ignore me. LOL!

I dunno, Helen. I guess if they're trying to figure out where some of the end-times folk are coming from, they might have needed to do a little studying up.

" As the nation and the world prepare to celebrate the arrival of the new millennium, a debate has arisen as to the correct date for its beginning. Although the true starting point of the next millennium is January 1, 2001, as established by the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., our nation's official time keeper, many will celebrate January 1, 2000, as the start of the millennium. The majority of domestic terrorists, like the general public, place a greater significance on January 1, 2000. "
and here's something: I understand that it's now common knowledge that, when the calendar was being 'devised' there was a 6 year mistake made, meaning this year, 2002 is in actuality 2008 A.D. So the year 2000 would actually be 1994/95.

No, I have more important things to be concerned about. For example, re-taking the majority from the Democrats in the Senate, getting the Prez re-elected, etc.
