This is a sad but true article. Ashcroft is mentally unstable.

So Ashcroft cannot handle female breasts or naked men statues either. The other statue, of a man with a cloth covering his midsection, is called the Majesty of Law.

The statues have been there since 1930 but Ashcroft is the first Attorney General to suggest clothing them.

In the past, snagging a photo of the attorney general in front of the statues has been something of a sport for photographers.

When former Attorney General Edwin Meese released a report on pornography in the 1980s, photographers dived to the floor to capture the image of him raising the report in the air, with the partially nude female statue behind him.

How silly!

Isn't he fortunate that he doesn't have to give a speech in a museum or live in Italy?

I was going to post this thread earlier, but realized that everyone would already understand what a stupid, narrow-minded jerk A$$croft is! Still, it is nice to throw some aspersions in his direction ...

EVERYTHING is being covered up...naked statues, calico cats, ENRON and CHENEY...What's next???

Now, the General Accounting Office is suing! What an awesome debacle.

A Blue Burka???

Maureen Dowd

The vice president and president are really concerned about the privacy of power. They want to do what they want to do, and be accountable to no one. The stonewalling on the energy task force and the unilateralism on Camp X-ray are two sides of the same coin.

The theme of Bush I is now the theme of Bush II: Trust us, even if we won't let you verify. We know we're right. We answer to no one.

I, for one, want some answers. Let's start with those calico cats and Enron rats.

the newest alliance between peta and publicans has produced a new law whereby the usda instead of inspecting food and medicine will now be able to fine animals owners for keeping naked animals
