In an apparently unprecedented move, the three most conservative justices- Rehnquist, Scalia, and Thomas decided to make public statements about a case that the Court had just decided NOT to hear. It is known as the Ten Commandments case involving the right to display the 10C's at the Indiana State Capitol building. They said that much of our legal system is based on them so they saw nothing wrong with it. -- VERY SCARY!!!!

The new republican party that is filled with Christian Fascists need their payoffs looked after as well. You can't go around forgetting whom you represent, when the only people that you represent are those who contributed to your campaign or to your next one. And the Christian Coleition as well as other Christain Fascist organizations have dug deeply into their pockets and produced both money and mass-block voters.

I always thought the Ten Commandments showed a lot of common sense from a non-religious point of view.
I'm curious. Which of the Ten Commandments do you consider feel restrict your rights of freedom of religion more than they are already restricted by existing secular laws (e.g. thou shalt not kill)?

I want NO mention of ANY religion anywhere I cannot be PROTECTED from it! I'm sure Mormons feel Moroni was a SUPER-DUPER angel -- I feel it's a bunch of silliness! And Ramadan is a sacred month for Islam, etc, etc!
