or..how could there be such a run of good luck?

On Sunday night the United States prepared for fresh strikes
against new pockets of al-Qaida and Taliban fighters in
Afghanistan. At almost exactly the same time, American
intelligence revealed that they had uncovered an increase in
money being transferred between groups of al-Qaida fighters.
According to my reckoning, this is the 14th handy thing that
American intelligence has discovered since September 11.
Think back over the past six months and it becomes ineluctable:
never in the history of modern warfare has so much been found
so opportunely.

Have you followed this case at all? "Odd" doesn't begin to describe it...

Action. We want ACTION, people! We want some HOPE! We want to hear about the resistance Movement in America. We want to hear about Patriotic Americans on the Move to go overthrow this corrupt government of ours! Just reporting one dirty trick after another has passed the saturation point. NOW is the time to rally the people, organize resistance cells and groups, and try to take back this country of ours.

WHO THE HELL GAVE OUR ELECTED GOVERNMENT PERMISSION TO REWRITE THE US CONSTITUTION TO PLEASE THEMSELVES WITHOUT TELLING US ABOUT IT?

Concerned citizens are ready to do something. Those who are doing something, the media shows them in a bad light and focuses on paid vandals who infiltrate peaceful protests and cause damage and make the movement look bad. We need to SEE that others are at work in order to inspire us to make our own plans. We need to hear about what other democratic resistance movements are doing so that we may take heart in it. We want to know WHO is standing up to take leadership and which direction they are going in, so that we may decide if we want to join in.

IT IS STILL NOT TOO LATE TO TAKE BACK OUR GOVERNMENT AND ROLLBACK THE BREAKS IN THE US CONSTITUTION. FOR A WHILE AND NOT FOREVER.

Great Link, KRS. It led to other interesting places. See - this is what people need: to KNOW that they are not alone in their anger and worry about the sweeping changes in our government. It's good to hear what current nastiness there is, but it's also a good thing to provide readers with ways to do something about it.

That link suggests a petition process. Good luck to them! In Oregon, we have the Referendum process, much like California and Washington does. The people get to put issues up for a vote and to create law; such as, the assisted suicide laws that is so controversial.

This allows citizens to over-ride the local legislatures and politicians; who suffer from too much contribution monies like they do at the federal level. Call it a kind of check and balance system slanted towards the side of the People.

Unfortunately, stupid Oregonians keep voting into the Oregon Legislature a Republican majority and they have been hard at work dismantling all consumer and worker protections for the last decade.

So, the Referendum process. You see, we did that. We the People passed new Laws that the Republican-controlled Legislature didn't want. So what does the Oregon's Republican Legislature do? After they loose the battle on some referendum, they have their lawyers go over it with a fine tooth-comb for flaws. Any flaws found, no matter how utterly insignificant it is or how conjured up it is, the Republicans turn around and take it to the State judges and have the referendum thrown out! In other words: OREGONIANS - *UCK YOU!

Now, I have less than the same hopes for a petition process to our government. That's playing by the stated rules while the government totally ignores any rules at all. What chance do YOU think it will have?

No, there is going to be an uprising in this country. You'll see: the next election cycle will NOT fix this! And if some democratic puppet clown gets into office, he or she will just do the same things! Personally, the longer that we wait, the worse that it gets day by day.

"two bit" terrorists aren't worth enough concern to stop the visit to Peru but they're worth spending American lives and untold billions in a trumped up war.

You know it would not matter how much faith I had in the Secret Service - it just never pays to stand up and TRY to make the nut cases mad. It is just asking for it.
